These are matching maple bedside tables custom crafted for MJ Poehler and Scott Randolph of Benton Boulevard in Kansas City, Missouri.
Both MJ and Scott are information technology specialists (MLS, librarians, all-around good people) and they wanted bedside tables that matched their existing headboard. We came awfully close, if not spot on.
They also wanted an open space for laptops, but not taking up the table-top; this was reserved for books, radios, glasses, etc. So the tables really have two tops, as you can see. As you can also see they like clean, neat rooms. So there is an ample drawer and a storage cabinet with an adjustable shelf.
It was fun to do, and especially nice to install.
